Home safe from the St Lucia Rally 2023. What an awesome rally. We left Monday morning stopping in Summerfield Botanical Garden & Exclusive Resort in Eswatini for a couple of days and enjoying the local hospitality. Then off to Turtle Bay Lodge, St Lucia for the weekend. Thursday morning we took on the high seas and came back with enough spoils to feed the team. Had an awesome tour and picnic in Cape Vidal Nature Reserve, St Lucia. And in between we Rallied. Thank you to Jan and Fiona Hofman from Turtle Bay Lodge. You are Champions.

Hosts, Jan and Fiona Hofman, have created a wonderful guest experience at Turtle Bay Lodge. The amenities, care, cleanliness and little extras made the stay warm and welcoming. The Lodge offers fishing charters as well, that creates a package deal worth grabbing when in the St Lucia area.

It made our stay in the beautiful St Lucia particularly special
Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that made this such a good place to stay were the people. It was a special family reunion for us and Jan, Fiona and their staff were incredibly courteous, helpful and generous with their time and advice. We had the option to use the other facilities such as the outdoor braai, access to fridge and pantry cupboards and outdoor dining which was much appreciated on the days that we felt like ‘home’ cooking. The ‘3 course’ breakfasts were cooked fresh and we were offered daily choice to avoid repetition. To get the best of the facility, I would recommend the luxury rooms with which are spacious, bright, airy and have access to the pool and the courtyard area.

Relaxing, upmarket and friendly home away from home, excellent hosts
We spent a week at this wonderful lodge located just off the main beat in St Lucia, 2 mins to restaurants, 5 mins to the beach. Set in a quiet street, there is no evidence of crime or discontent. The staff are friendly and energetic and did everything to make our stay comfortable without being overbearing. The owners, Jan and Fiona are top notch hosts who will organise anything requested at the drop of a hat. Can't recommend this gem highly enough

You will not find the excellent hospitality anywhere else! The rooms are excellent, the pool lovely and the bar, and braai a must-do activity on its own! And did I mention the breakfast?!

5 star accommodation. Incredible personalised service. Great relaxation amenities.

The hosts Jan and Fiona could not have been more hospitable, made us a smashing braai and spoilt us …thank you!

Fiona is an awesome host. The place is peaceful and absolutely stunning. Clean and spacious. They have the best breakfast in town with the most kind and helpful staff.
